Jinnah Medical & Dental College (JMDC) was founded in 1998, admitting its first MBBS batch that year and its first BDS batch in 1999; the first graduates completed their degrees in June 2003. It is named after Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and is affiliated with Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU).
