Why consider it
Why thousands of Pakistanis choose MBBS abroad
PM&DC & WHO Recognised
Dozens of universities across China, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia are on the PM&DC approved list. Graduates are eligible to sit the NRE exam and practice medicine in Pakistan.
Cost vs Pakistani Private Colleges
Total cost of an MBBS abroad (5 years including living expenses) is often less than one or two years of fees at a private medical college in Pakistan.
English-Medium Options
All popular destinations — China, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia — deliver the MBBS degree entirely in English. China also requires a 6-month Mandarin course for daily life before classes start.
Large Pakistani Student Communities
Every major destination has an established Pakistani student community. You will not be navigating a new country alone. There is a support network at every university we recommend.

Check Your Eligibility
Confirm you have F.Sc. Pre-Medical with 60%+ marks and MDCAT with 50%+ marks. Both are mandatory PM&DC requirements.
Choose a PM&DC / ECFMG Recognised University
Not every university abroad qualifies. Picking the wrong one means you cannot sit the NRE exam when you return. This is the single most important decision.
Apply and Receive Your Admission Letter
Submit your documents: F.Sc. transcripts, MDCAT result, passport, and photos. The university issues a formal admission letter within 2 to 6 weeks.
Obtain PM&DC Student Registration Certificate
Register on the PM&DC online portal (free of cost) and get your student registration certificate before leaving Pakistan. This is a legal requirement.
Apply for Student Visa
Submit your admission letter, university acceptance documents, physical examination report, and PM&DC certificate to the relevant embassy in Islamabad.
Language Course (if required)
All MBBS programs in China, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia are taught in English — your entire degree is in English. However, PM&DC requires students going to China to also complete a minimum 6-month Mandarin language course before MBBS classes begin (for daily life, not for the medical curriculum). Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia have no language course requirement. This language course year is counted as part of your total 6-year program duration.
Complete Your MBBS Program & Internship (6 Years Total)
Your total program is 6 years: 5 years of full-time MBBS study (6,200+ hours minimum) followed by 1 year of internship (housejob) in your host country. Maintain 80% attendance throughout — falling below this can disqualify you from NRE eligibility.
Return and Pass the NRE Exam
The National Registration Examination by PM&DC is your licence to practise medicine in Pakistan. Your Multiple Entry & Exit Visa must be valid through your graduation.
Money matters
Costs & Scholarships
China offers the lowest total fees of any MBBS abroad destination — as low as 9 lac PKR per year including tuition, hostel, and all university charges. Compare that to Pakistani private medical colleges charging 25–60 lac PKR per year for the same degree, with no guarantee of PM&DC recognition issues.
China Tuition
20,000–50,000 RMB/yr
~9 lac – 18 lac PKR/yr
Includes tuition + hostel + university charges. Varies by university tier.
Azerbaijan / Kyrgyzstan

I went through this myself. Let me help you do it right.
I failed to secure a merit seat twice. My father found a way and got me into MBBS in China. Since then, I've guided hundreds of Pakistani students through the same journey, to China, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Russia, and more. University selection, documentation, admissions, visa process. This is completely free. No commissions, no hidden fees.
Common questions
Frequently asked
Is an MBBS from abroad recognised in Pakistan?
Yes, provided the university is on the PM&DC and ECFMG approved list. After returning, you must pass the NRE exam conducted by PM&DC to get your licence to practice. Choosing a recognised university is the single most important decision you will make.
Which country is best: China, Azerbaijan, or Kyrgyzstan?
It depends on your priorities. China has the strongest universities and CSC scholarships but requires a Mandarin language year. Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan offer English-medium programs at lower cost with simpler admission. Georgia is a growing option with a European-style curriculum. WhatsApp me with your academic profile and I'll give you a personalised recommendation.
Do I need to learn the local language?
The MBBS degree itself is in English in all popular destinations — China, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia. However, for China specifically, PM&DC requires a minimum 6-month Mandarin course before you start MBBS classes (for everyday life, not the medical curriculum). Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia have no additional language requirement.
What is the NRE exam?
The National Registration Examination is a mandatory licensing exam conducted by PM&DC for all Pakistani students who completed their MBBS abroad. Passing it is the only way to legally practice medicine in Pakistan after returning.
Can I apply for scholarships?
Yes. China offers the CSC (Chinese Scholarship Council) scholarship covering tuition, accommodation, and a monthly stipend. Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan universities also offer merit-based fee reductions. WhatsApp me to discuss what you qualify for based on your academic profile.
What documents do I need to apply?
F.Sc. transcripts (attested), MDCAT result card, valid passport (minimum 18 months validity), passport photos, medical fitness certificate, PM&DC Student Registration Certificate, and the university's admission letter.
