Private Medical Colleges in Pakistan 2026 — Complete List by Province (with Official Fees)

Pakistan has 75 private-sector medical colleges recognised by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), roughly 1.5x the number of public colleges. Private colleges don't use the merit-based free-seat system — admission runs on the same entrance test but seats are paid, so seat allocation and fee (not closing merit) are the numbers that matter most here.

A note on how these fees were sourced: every figure marked (official) below was pulled directly from that college's own website — its fee-structure page or a fee-schedule PDF hosted on its own domain. A lot of colleges publish their fee only as a scanned image or a PDF that doesn't extract cleanly, and several official fee pages returned a 403/404 or simply don't exist yet for the 2025–26 session — those are marked fee not confirmed on official site, and we are deliberately not filling the gap with a number from a third-party aggregator, since that's exactly what led to the "1.8M appears everywhere" contamination problem we ran into researching this. Where we do have an official figure, it's Year 1 tuition only — tuition rises 5–7% every subsequent year, and every college adds admission fee, security deposit, and hostel/mess on top.

What to check before you commit to a private seat

Seat count and fee don't tell you the whole story — a handful of colleges above currently have contested admission status under active litigation, always verify current-cycle status directly on pmdc.pk before paying any deposit. Where we have an official fee, it's Year 1 tuition only; nearly every college raises tuition 5–7% each subsequent year and charges extra for hostel, mess, and a one-time admission/security deposit, so the true 5-year cost typically runs well above 5× the Year 1 figure — the CMH Kharian and Foundation University figures above show this pattern explicitly (Year 1 tuition vs. total programme cost). For colleges with no confirmed figure, don't assume it matches a similar-looking college in the same city — verified figures above range from under Rs 1M/year (QIMS Quetta) to over Rs 2.5M/year (Shalamar Lahore), so there's no reliable "typical" number to substitute. For colleges we track in depth (merit trend, fee, related options), see the medical colleges directory.

Sources: Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (pmdc.pk/Colleges/PrivateMedicalColleges) for seat allocations, verified 2026-07-14. Fee figures marked (official) were extracted directly from that college's own fee-structure page or PDF, listed above with the source domain. All other colleges' fee pages were either image-based, PDF-locked, returned an access error, or weren't found — rather than substitute a third-party aggregator number, we've marked those "fee not confirmed on official site." Contact the college directly for its current published fee.
