Getting started

Sign up, set up your profile, get to your first quiz

Do I need to sign up?+
Yes — a free account saves your progress, bookmarks, schedule, and quiz history. Sign-up takes 30 seconds via Google or email. No card, no payment, no plan to pick.
Is everything really free?+
Yes, completely. We run on voluntary donations. If you'd like to chip in, see the Support Us page — but it's entirely optional. Every feature is open to every student.
How do I start my first quiz?+
After signing in: sidebar → PracticeQuestion Bank → pick any chapter (e.g. Cell Structure) → choose a mode → click Start Practice. That's it.
What do the dashboard widgets show?+
Welcome banner with avatar + MCQs practised count; MDCAT 2026 countdown; Prayer Tracker (if Muslim); Today's Plan widget (your timetable slots + schedule topics for today); Support carousel; Stats grid; Recent activity. Everything updates after each session.

Practice tools

Question Bank, Mock Papers, Past Papers, Flashcards, Books & Notes, Bookmarks

What's the difference between Question Bank, Mock Papers, and Past Papers?+
Question Bank — chapter-aligned MCQs for focused drilling. Mock Papers — full-length timed simulations under real-exam conditions. Past Papers — genuine MDCAT papers from previous years across all boards (UHS, NUMS, ETEA, etc.) with original explanations. Use Question Bank to learn → Past Papers to test → Mock Papers to simulate.
How does the Skip button work?+
On any unanswered question, click 'Skip →' to mark it 'come back later' and jump to the next one. Skipped questions appear in the Question Map with an amber tint and can be filtered via the 'Skipped' chip.
Where do I see all my questions at once?+
Scroll below the Previous/Next buttons during any quiz — there's a Question Map panel. Click to expand. You'll see a grid of all question numbers + filter chips (All, Attempted, Skipped, Left, Bookmarked, Flagged).
How do I bookmark a question?+
Click the bookmark icon (top-right of every question) during a quiz. Saved questions live in sidebar → Practice → Bookmarks — re-attempt them anytime.
I see a wrong answer. How do I report it?+
Click the 🚩 flag icon at the top of any question. Tell us briefly what's wrong. We review reports weekly and fix confirmed errors fast.
What are Flashcards?+
Bite-sized concept cards for quick revision. Pick a subject + chapter and flip through key concepts. Great for last-week revision when you've already drilled MCQs.
What are Books & Notes?+
Curated PDFs and notes organised by subject. Free to download. Browse alongside your practice when you want deeper reading.
Do Muslim students see anything different at quiz start?+
Yes — when you start a quiz, a Bismillah overlay appears with the Arabic verse and translation. Click 'Start Test' to begin. Non-Muslim students start immediately without the overlay.
What is Focus Mode?+
A distraction-free full-screen view inside any quiz. Click the ⊡ icon next to the question counter to enter Focus Mode — sidebar, header, and everything else disappears. Press Escape or click ⊠ to exit.
Are there keyboard shortcuts in quizzes?+
Yes: A / B / C / D selects the matching option. ← → navigates Previous / Next. Escape exits Focus Mode. Works in both Question Bank and Mock Papers.
What are Recently Viewed chapters?+
The dashboard shows pill-shaped chips for the last 5 chapters you opened. Click any chip to jump straight back into that chapter's quiz — no navigation needed.
What is Adaptive Practice?+
A smart mode that auto-selects questions from your weakest topics based on your past performance. No chapter-picking needed — the system picks what you need most.
What are Daily Challenges?+
A short set of 5–10 curated MCQs released every day. Complete the challenge to maintain your streak and earn points. Accessible from the Practice section.

Planner

PMDC Syllabus checklist, day-by-day Schedule, weekly Timetable

What's the difference between Syllabus, Schedule, and Timetable?+
PMDC Syllabus — checklist of all 88 official topics. Tick what you've covered. Schedule — day-by-day topic plan from today until your MDCAT date. Timetable — weekly hour-by-hour slots (Morning/Afternoon/Evening) for which subject to study when. Schedule tells you what, Timetable tells you when.
Which should I set up first?+
Schedule first. The Timetable is locked until you have a schedule, because the timetable arranges when you study — it needs to know what first.
How does the Schedule generator distribute topics?+
For shorter schedules (~50–100 study days), topics are spread evenly so every study day has at least 1–2 topics. For long schedules (a full year), topics naturally cycle — each PMDC topic recurs every 88-topic span, becoming spaced-repetition. No day is ever left empty.
What do day types mean?+
Study — new topics assigned. Revision — review prior topics, no new material. Mock — attempt a full mock test. Rest — your chosen rest weekday. Buffer — last N days before exam, pure revision.
I missed some days. What's the Catch-up banner?+
If past study days have unchecked topics, an amber banner appears at the top of your Schedule. Click 'Redistribute' to move those missed topics into upcoming study days automatically.
What's the streak counter?+
Consecutive days where you completed every topic assigned to that day. Resets if you miss a day. Shown next to the schedule and on the dashboard Today's Plan widget.
What's the Placement / Diagnostic Test?+
A 10-minute test that samples questions across all subjects to find your weak areas instantly. Take it once at the start: sidebar → PlannerDiagnostic Test. Your results auto-personalise the schedule and weak-area recommendations.

Analytics

Progress chart, topic mastery heatmap, weak-area diagnostics

What's on the Progress page?+
A line chart of your daily accuracy over 30 / 90 / 365 days, plus a topic-mastery heatmap (green = strong, amber = improving, red = needs work). Toggle overlays for “Last period”, “First attempts”, and the opt-in “Class average” benchmark.
What's the Weak Areas page?+
Your top weakest topics sorted by a weakness score that blends low accuracy with slow average time. Each card shows subject + chapter + topic + accuracy + last attempted. Tap “Practise this topic” to drill it immediately.
Why is the Class average benchmark hidden?+
It's opt-in and requires ≥10 quizzes of your own data first. Enable it on your profile.
Where do I see chapter-by-chapter breakdown?+
Sidebar → Analytics (main page). The Subject → Chapter → Topic tree is collapsible. Tap a subject to open chapters; tap a chapter to see every topic with your score. Attempted topics show a “Practise more”/“Keep sharp” button; unattempted ones show “Attempt now”.
How do I download my Progress Report?+
Sidebar → Analytics → scroll to the bottom → click Download Progress Report. A full PDF opens in a new tab with your key stats, 30-day accuracy trend, subject breakdown, weakest topics, chapter notes, and streak. Print or save from there.
What is the Target Score widget?+
On the Score Predictor page, set your target MDCAT score (max 180). The widget shows how far your current predicted score is from the target, and which subjects need the most improvement to close the gap. Update your target anytime with the pencil icon.

Tools

Leaderboard, Achievements, Score Predictor, Formula Sheet, Study Timer, Aggregate Calculator

How does the Leaderboard work?+
Top 100 students ranked by MCQs practised + accuracy. Updated daily. Your own rank is pinned at the bottom even if you're outside the top 100, plus tips on how to climb.
What are Achievements?+
Badges in Bronze / Silver / Gold tiers earned by milestones — MCQs attempted, streaks, perfect quiz scores, syllabus chapters covered, etc. Toast notifications fire when you unlock one.
How accurate is the Score Predictor?+
It estimates your likely MDCAT score based on your accuracy across subjects, weighted by MCQ counts in the real exam. It updates after every quiz. Confidence per subject is shown so you know which estimates are still rough.
What's the Aggregate Calculator?+
Calculates your final MDCAT + FSc + Matric aggregate for any Pakistani medical university (UHS, NUMS, KMU, DUHS, SZABMU, etc.). Public link — share it with friends without needing to sign in.
What's the Formula Sheet?+
A quick-reference sheet of high-yield Physics, Chemistry, and Biology formulas, constants, and values for MDCAT. Organised by topic (Kinematics, Thermochemistry, Genetics, etc.). Sidebar → ToolsFormula Sheet. Bookmark it for fast access during study sessions.
What's the Study Timer / Pomodoro?+
A floating timer (circle button, bottom-right of screen) that defaults to Pomodoro mode (25 min focus + 5 min break). It counts down, sends a browser notification when a phase ends, and tracks your completed cycles. Switch to Free Timer mode for open-ended sessions. The timer hides automatically on quiz pages since those have their own timer.

Account & settings

Profile, username, font size, dark mode, religion, sign-out, deletion

How do I change my name, avatar, or email?+
Sidebar → click your avatar (bottom) → opens profile settings. Update name, avatar, city, province, date of birth, WhatsApp number, parent email, religion, and study-time preferences. Saves on submit.
How do I sign out?+
There's a 'Sign out' button at the bottom of the sidebar, works the same on desktop and mobile.
Can I delete my account permanently?+
Yes. WhatsApp us at +92 341 7964379 asking for deletion. Your account, quiz history, bookmarks, schedule, and reports are removed within 72 hours per our Privacy Policy.
What's the parent email field for?+
Optional. If you enter a parent's email, they receive a monthly progress summary (MCQs attempted, accuracy trends, weak topics). You can disable this anytime from your profile.
What's the religion field for?+
Used only to show religion-appropriate motivational quotes on loading screens and the Bismillah overlay before quizzes for Muslim students. You can change or set 'prefer not to say' anytime.
How do I set my @username?+
Sidebar → click your name/avatar at the bottom → Profile settings → set your username. Once set, it appears under your name in the sidebar and on leaderboards. Must be unique across all students.
How do I change the font size?+
Sidebar → bottom Appearance row → click the A button → choose A (default), A+ (large), or A++ (larger). The preference saves in your browser and persists across pages.
How do I switch between dark and light mode?+
Sidebar → Appearance row → click the moon/sun icon (theme toggle). Your preference is saved in the browser and applied immediately across all pages.
How do I replay the onboarding tour?+
Two ways: (1) scroll down this Help page and click Replay Onboarding Tour — or go to Profile and click the same button there. The tour resets and starts fresh on the next page load.
Can I skip the loading screen?+
Yes — a small 'Skip' button appears in the top-right corner of the loading screen. Click it to jump straight to the destination page without waiting for the motivational quote to finish.

Community

Clans, Duels, Study Rooms, Friends, Referrals, Doubt Forum

What are Clans?+
Study groups of up to 30 students. Create or join a Clan from sidebar → Community Clans. Clan members share a leaderboard, set collective goals (e.g. “10,000 MCQs this week”), and compete together. The Clan Admin can approve members, set goals, and manage settings.
How do Duels work?+
1-on-1 MCQ battles. Go to sidebar → CommunityDuels → Challenge a friend. Both players get the same questions and a time limit. The higher scorer wins. Duels expire if the opponent doesn't accept within 24 hours.
What are Study Rooms?+
Live group study sessions. Create or join a room from Community → Study Rooms. Everyone in the room practices MCQs independently, and a live leaderboard updates in real time showing each member's MCQs done, correct answers, and accuracy — great for friendly competition while studying together.
What's the difference between a Public and Private Study Room?+
Public rooms appear in the Study Rooms lobby so any student can discover and join with one click. Private rooms are invite-only — they never appear in the lobby and can only be joined by sharing the 6-character room code directly with friends. Choose your preference when creating the room.
How do I join a Study Room someone shared with me?+
Sidebar → Community → Study Rooms → enter the 6-character code in the “Join by Code” box → click Join. You'll land on the live room page instantly.
How does chat work inside a Study Room?+
Every room has a live chat panel alongside the leaderboard. On desktop both panels show side-by-side. On mobile, use the Board / Chat tab toggle at the top. Messages are real-time and visible to all members in the room.
How do I end or leave a Study Room?+
Inside the room, click End Room (if you're the host — this closes the room for everyone) or Leave Room (if you're a member — only you leave). The room stays active for remaining members until the host ends it.
How does the Clans Leaderboard ranking work?+
Each member gets a combined score over the last 30 days: XP earned (40%) + accuracy (30%) + current streak (20%) + quizzes completed (10%). The clan's rank is the average of all members' scores. Clans need 2+ members to appear in the official ranked list — solo-member clans are shown separately.
What's the Doubt Forum?+
A Q&A board where students post questions and get answers from peers or the Prep Titans team. Access it under Community. Browse by subject, upvote helpful answers, and mark questions as resolved. Great for clearing specific concept doubts.
How do I add friends?+
Sidebar → Community → Friends → search by username or name → click Add. Once they accept, you can view their public profile, compare accuracy head-to-head by subject, and challenge them to a Duel directly from the friends list.
What's in a friend's public profile?+
Their avatar, username, current streak, total MCQs, overall accuracy, rank, clan, and recent badges. Click their name on the Friends page to open it.
How does the head-to-head comparison work?+
From the Friends page, click 'Compare →' next to a friend. You'll see accuracy bars for both of you across all 5 MDCAT subjects side-by-side, plus a winner badge per subject and overall MCQ/accuracy totals.
How does the Invite Friends (referral) system work?+
Sidebar → Community → Invite Friends. You get a unique referral code. Share your code or link (preptitanslms.com/join?ref=YOUR_CODE) with anyone. When they sign up and complete onboarding using your code, you earn 150 XP and they earn 50 XP as a welcome bonus. Track your referred friends list and total referrals on the same page.
Can I leave a Clan?+
Yes — go to your Clan's page → Settings → Leave Clan. If you're the only Admin, you must promote another member first before leaving.

Donations & supporting

How to give, where it goes, opt-in supporters wall

Why donate if everything is free?+
Hosting, content development, and new features cost real money. Donations keep the platform free for thousands of Pakistani students who otherwise couldn't afford prep platforms. Even Rs. 100 covers a few weeks of content updates.
How do I donate?+
See the Support Us page. We accept JazzCash, EasyPaisa, NayaPay, bank transfer (6 banks listed), PayPal, and crypto. After sending, WhatsApp us a screenshot so we can thank you and log it.
Is my donation tax-deductible?+
Not currently — we're not yet a registered non-profit. We're working on registration; once approved, future donations will be tax-deductible.
Will my name appear on a public supporters wall?+
Only if you opt in. The donation form has a 'Show on supporters wall' checkbox — leave it unchecked for full anonymity. You can also message us anytime to opt out.

Technical issues

When something breaks

The page won't load / shows an error.+
Try a hard refresh first (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). If the error persists, screenshot it and WhatsApp us with the URL. Our error pages also show a 'ref' code — include that if you see one.
My quiz progress disappeared.+
Progress saves to your account on each answer, so it should survive reloads. If you genuinely lost progress, WhatsApp us your email + approximate quiz time and we'll check the database directly.
The site looks broken on my phone.+
We test on iOS Safari, Chrome (Android), and Brave. If something looks off on your device, send a screenshot + your browser/phone model. We've patched specific Android drawer overlap bugs and might have missed something else.
Sign-in isn't working.+
If the magic-link email or Google sign-in fails, check your spam folder first. Otherwise WhatsApp us — we can manually verify your account from our side.
Loading screen always plays when I navigate — is that needed?+
The 4-second loading screen with motivational ayat/quotes only fires on forward navigation. Going BACK to a parent page (e.g. quiz → chapter list) skips it automatically for a snappier feel.
