Bilawal Medical College for Boys was established in 2018 as a constituent college of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), whose own lineage traces back to 1881 as Sindh Medical School, renamed Liaquat Medical College in 1951 and upgraded to a university in 2001. Bilawal Medical College is described as Pakistan's first male-only medical college.
