Bilawal Medical College for Boys was established in 2018 as a constituent college of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), whose own lineage traces back to 1881 as Sindh Medical School, renamed Liaquat Medical College in 1951 and upgraded to a university in 2001. Bilawal Medical College is described as Pakistan's first male-only medical college.

Location

Jamshoro is a university town on the Indus River near Hyderabad in Sindh, home to LUMHS's 570-acre campus (occupied since 1963) as well as the University of Sindh, making it one of Sindh's principal centers of higher education.
