Avicenna Medical College was established in 2009 on Bedian Road, DHA, Lahore, under the Abdul Waheed Trust, chaired by Abdul Waheed Sheikh. It was initially known as the Medical Organisation College before being renamed after the medieval physician Avicenna (Ibn Sina). A dental hospital was added in 2016, followed by PMDC recognition of Avicenna Dental College in 2018.

Admission criteria
