Independent Medical College (IMC) Faisalabad was conceived by founder-chairman Professor Mohammad Shuja Tahir and, after roughly a decade of planning, admitted its first batch in 2000 -- notably early for private medical education in Pakistan. A second campus phase, with the affiliated Independent University Hospital, opened in 2007.

Location

The original campus was located in Jinnah Colony, Faisalabad, an industrial city in Punjab historically built around the British colonial-era Lyallpur agricultural settlement and later renamed after President Fazal Ilahi Chaudhry's hometown links to the city's development.

Admission criteria
