HITEC Institute of Medical Sciences (HITEC-IMS) was established in 2016 within the Heavy Industries Taxila Education City (HITEC) complex. Its Dental College was inspected and recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) as an ISO 9001:2015-certified private dental college, and its Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was established on 1 September 2016, performing its first maxillofacial surgery case the following day at HIT Hospital.

Location

Taxila is a historic town near Islamabad renowned as an ancient centre of learning and a UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site, and is today home to Pakistan's Heavy Industries Taxila defence-industrial complex, within whose education city HITEC-IMS sits.

Admission criteria
